This app holds private things: what you spend, what you pray about, what you write in your journal, and what you say to the person you are married to. This page says plainly what is kept, who can see it, and how to remove it. If anything here is unclear, that is a fault worth reporting.
What is stored
- Your account — your email address, your name, and a password held by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see your password.
- What you put in the app — the full list is in the table below.
- Photos and voice notes — receipt photos, memory photos, profile pictures, and any voice note you record are stored as files.
- Error reports — when the app crashes it sends the error and what the app was doing, so it can be fixed.
There is no advertising in this app, no tracking for advertising, and your data is not sold or shared with anyone for marketing.
What your partner can see, and what they cannot
When you connect with a partner, some things become shared by design and some stay yours. This is the actual split the app enforces, not a summary of it:
| Shared with your partner | Private to you |
|---|---|
| Accounts, debts, bills, income and jobs, budget, receipts, money history and giving · calendar and events · check-ins and moods · decisions and shared history · saved items and memories · messages between you | Your journal · your goals · your Bible notes and your conversations with the Anchor · your morning briefs |
Where the app helps you carry something to your partner, it shows you the exact words first and sends only when you tap. Your own raw words are not crossed over without that step.
Who else processes it
- Google (Firebase) — hosting, sign-in, the database, file storage, and the server functions. Your data is stored on Google's infrastructure in the United States.
- Anthropic — the AI. To answer you, write your morning brief, or draft a message, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic's API and the reply is sent back. Anthropic processes it to produce that reply.
Nothing is sent to Anthropic except what is needed for the thing you asked for. Ordinary use of the money rooms, the calendar or the lists does not send anything to the AI.
How long it is kept, and how to remove it
What you put in stays until you remove it. You can delete it yourself, in categories rather than all-or-nothing, in the app under More → Manage my data. Deleting a category removes those records, and where a photo or voice note belongs to something you delete, the file goes too.
If you want your whole account and everything in it removed, ask through Help in the app and it will be done.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access is enforced on the server by Firestore and Storage security rules, so one person cannot read another person's private records even if they try — that boundary is covered by an automated test suite that runs before every release.
No system is perfect. If you find a way to see something you should not, please report it through Help.
Children
This app is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for children.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, the date at the top changes and the app will say so.
